A quick one!

For this month's challenge of the DiNusty Empire, I wanted to play around with Marmoset Toolbag 4 and its ray tracing. The topic was "Retro" and I chose the prop challenge for creating a Piranha Plant.

For the colors, I used the ones from my all time favorite game which is "Super Mario World" on the Super Nintendo from 1990.

I felt inspired by artists like Mohamed Chahin and Puffy puffpuff for a long time now, so this project was the perfect opportunity to create an artwork that is clean, bright and minimalistic, too. I felt that the plastic-like look was a good fit for a retro topic as well, because I surely did love the plastic toys of the 90s.
